Linda Gritta

Linda Gritta is an abstract painter with a studio in Asheville, North Carolina.

Linda shares “I find that abstract painting affords me a daily opportunity to leave the very cerebral, linear and task-focused world behind for a much-needed place of imagination, curiosity and intuition. Color is my 'drug of choice' and an irresistible world unto itself. With each painting it is my hope that the viewer will also be ushered into their own place of imagination and wonderment.”

About her studio, Linda says “After a few decades of painting in my kitchen, garage or in drafty warehouse corners, my husband and I decided to build this beautiful little studio behind our home. Situated right in the middle of our garden, there is no lack of inspiration as I show up each day, whether from the flowers, the birds, the pollinators, or the occasional black bear and her cubs!”
