“Rooted in the depth and beauty of Islamic art traditions, my work channels spirituality, heritage, and healing into a visual language that invites connection with the Divine. Inspired by my British and African heritage, I weave the intricate styles of Maghrebi Andalusi calligraphy and illumination from Morocco with a contemporary sensibility. Each piece is a meditation on sacred texts, combining the timeless with the present to evoke tranquillity, contemplation, and an exploration of one’s inner self.”
