Peter Taumate

Peter Taumate is a self-taught artist from Montréal, Canada. Growing up in a creative household, Peter’s initial artistic inclinations leaned towards music rather than painting.

His approach to painting has been described as “akin to a sculptor chiseling away at stone, where each brush stroke contributes to the overall harmony of his work. The distinct color palettes and intricate play of light and shadow accentuate the emotive quality of his feminine portraits, creating a visual narrative inviting deeper exploration of the subjects depicted.”
