Lilian Mühlenkamp
Berlin based artist Lilian Mühlenkamp studied art in Dortmund. Her abstract works are an exploration of her own synesthesia and the challenge of balancing the tension between spontaneously emerging moments and the deliberate control of the material. Over the years, the intensive, experimental work with the medium of paint has developed into an individual technique of image creation and a distinctive feature of her works.
Studio of Lilian Mühlenkamp in Berlin, Germany
About her studio, Lilian says “My studio is located in Berlin-Neukölln, and what I love most is that it comes with its own garden, with old plum trees and a small pond and fish. Despite being in such a bustling city, it’s incredibly peaceful here. This little place feels like my personal retreat, where I can recharge in nature. It’s a space where I can disconnect from the busy life and reconnect with my creativity. The quiet surroundings inspire me and help me to gather energy, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my work.”
